Contact Alaska Dental Society
The Alaska Dental Society (ADS) is the professional membership organization for Alaska dentists, affiliated with the American Dental Association. ADS describes its purpose as maintaining dental care in Alaska at the highest level so residents can enjoy a lifetime of good oral health, and it operates a public-facing Find-a-Dentist directory of member dentists.
ADS is organized into seven local components — Anchorage, Coastal, Juneau, Kenai-Kodiak, Mat-Su, North Central, and Southeast — each of which runs its own local events and, in most cases, its own component website.
- Legislative advocacy on dentistry-related bills before the Alaska Legislature, including through the Dentists Alaska Political Action Committee (DAPAC)
- An annual meeting with continuing education programming and networking
- Volunteer programs, including Alaska Dental Lifeline and an ER Diversion program aimed at reducing emergency-room visits for dental pain
- Member benefits such as endorsed vendor pricing, mentorship for new dentists, and practice management resources
ADS can be reached at 4300 B Street, Suite 410, Anchorage, AK 99503, by phone at 907-563-3003, or by email at info@akdental.org. More information is available at akdental.org.
