Contact details and membership information for the professional dental association serving dentists in Oregon.

The Oregon Dental Association (ODA) is dedicated to advancing the dental profession and promoting the highest standard of oral health and oral health care. Established in 1893, ODA is a voluntary membership organization for Oregon dentists that provides continuing education, advocacy, and public information on dental health. ODA is comprised of 14 local component dental societies across Oregon that run continuing education and service programs in their communities.

The American Dental Association (ADA), based in Chicago, is ODA's parent organization; it provides research, public information, and continuing education programs, and represents dentistry through national legislative and regulatory efforts.

Programs and advocacy

  • Government and Regulatory Affairs — ODA tracks legislative and rule changes affecting Oregon dentistry through a dedicated Legislative Taskforce and Regulatory Affairs Committee; the 2027 Oregon Legislative Session convenes January 11, 2027.
  • Oregon Dental Conference (ODC) — ODA's major annual continuing education event for Oregon practitioners.
  • ODA Dental Career Connect — a members-only resource for practice and career connections.
  • Peer Review — a dispute-resolution service available to patients and dentists.

Dental Foundation of Oregon

ODA's charitable arm, the Dental Foundation of Oregon (DFO), was founded in 1982 and coordinates oral health education and charitable dental care for Oregon's children and vulnerable communities.
