Contact details and membership information for the professional dental association serving dentists in Alabama.

The Alabama Dental Association (ALDA) is the professional membership organization for Alabama dentists, affiliated with the American Dental Association. ALDA's mission is to encourage improvement of public health, promote the art and science of dentistry, and represent the interests of the dental profession and the public it serves.

ALDA organizes nine district dental societies across the state (including the Birmingham District and Mobile District) and operates a Continuing Education Center, Practice Management Center, and Advocacy Center for members.

More for Your Smile campaign

ALDA's "More for Your Smile" campaign advocates for greater dental insurance transparency and better coverage for Alabama patients, inviting patients to connect with lawmakers through an online toolkit and grassroots outreach.

Peer Review Program

ALDA offers a voluntary Peer Review mediation program for patients who have been unable to resolve a concern directly with their dentist. Participation is not legally binding, and a dentist may decline to take part. Patients begin the process by submitting a Peer Review Application to ALDA's Montgomery office.

More information is available at aldaonline.org, or by phone at (334) 265-1684.
