Florida Dental License Renewal

Florida dentists and dental hygienists renew on a biennial cycle; current licenses expire at midnight, Eastern Time, on February 28, 2028. Renewals are processed online through flhealthsource.gov (click "Renew a License") or by mail for status changes, military-active licenses, volunteer-status licenses, or name changes. Online renewal typically takes 10–15 minutes and is paid by credit or debit card; mailed renewals are paid by certified check or money order to the Florida Department of Health.

Renewal fees (before expiration)

Renewing after the license expires triggers tiered delinquent fees that increase the longer a license goes unrenewed, on top of the base renewal fee shown above. A license that is not renewed before the end of the following full renewal cycle becomes null and void without further action by the Board.
