Contact details and membership information for the professional dental association serving dentists in Kentucky.

The Kentucky Dental Association (KDA) is the professional membership organization for Kentucky dentists and an affiliate of the American Dental Association's tripartite structure. Its stated mission is to serve as "the voice of organized dentistry" and work with members to advance oral health across the Commonwealth.

What the KDA does for members

  • Legislative advocacy — represents dentists before the Kentucky General Assembly and regulatory bodies, including a dental political action committee (KDPAC) and an annual KDA Advocacy Days event.
  • Continuing education — hosts "The Kentucky Meeting" and other CE courses and events to help members meet KBD renewal requirements.
  • Practice and career resources — offers member insurance benefits, practice transition support through ADA Practice Transitions (ADAPT), and resources for new dentists and dental students through the Kentucky Dental Foundation.

The KDA is headquartered at 1920 Nelson Miller Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40223, and can be reached at (502) 489-9121. More information, including membership details and a Find-A-Dentist directory for the public, is available at kyda.org.
