Fees, deadlines, and what's required to renew a dental license in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin dental credentials renew on a biennial cycle. Under Wis. Stat. § 440.08(2), the Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, and Mobile Dentistry Program Registrant credentials all expire September 30 of each odd-numbered year — regardless of when the credential was first issued.

Under 2011 Wisconsin Act 210 (effective June 1, 2012), a license that expires while its holder is on active military duty is extended from 90 to 180 days after discharge; the same protection applies to a service member's spouse. Extensions beyond 180 days, and waivers of continuing education for hardship, may also be requested.
