Indiana Dental License Renewal

Fees, deadlines, and what's required to renew a dental license in Indiana.
Indiana dental license fees and the renewal cycle are set through IPLA's published fee schedule and are processed online at mylicense.in.gov. Dentist and dental hygienist licenses expire every two years on March 1 of even-numbered years; the current licensure cycle runs March 2, 2026 through March 1, 2028. Renewal notices are sent approximately 90 days before the expiration date, by email if one is on file or by mail otherwise.

All application fees are nonrefundable. A licensee may request inactive status at renewal at no charge and with no CE requirement. Reinstating a license expired more than 3 years, or an inactive license, requires the current application and renewal fees plus documentation of CE completed since the license lapsed.
