| Dental Specialist | $150.00 |
| Dental Hygienist | $60.00 |
| Limited Teaching License | $250.00 |
A $100.00 renewal penalty fee applies to any dentist, dental specialist, dental hygienist, or limited teaching license not renewed on time. Miscellaneous fees include corporation name approval ($15.00), verification of licensure ($20.00), a duplicate original certificate ($50.00), and a duplicate renewal license beyond the first two issued ($5.00 each).
Renewal cycle
Under Section 332.181, RSMo, and 20 CSR 2110-2.071, dentist and dental hygienist licenses renew every two years on a fixed cycle — the renewal period runs from December 1 through November 30, with licenses expiring November 30 of each even-numbered year (not on the licensee's birthday). Renewal is contingent on completing the required continuing education hours and holding current BLS/ACLS certification.
Current fees for permits, EF credentials, and other credential types are set out in full at 20 CSR 2110-2.170; contact the Board at dental@pr.mo.gov to confirm the fee applicable to a specific transaction.
