Contact details and membership information for the professional dental association serving dentists in Kansas.

The Kansas Dental Association (KDA) is the professional membership organization for Kansas dentists, affiliated with the American Dental Association. Founded in 1871, KDA marked its 150th anniversary in 2022 and has represented Kansas dentistry for more than 150 years.

KDA's stated mission is to promote public health and health services, advance the art and science of dentistry, and foster awareness of the dental profession's obligations to society. For members, KDA provides legislative advocacy at the Kansas Statehouse, continuing education programming, a credentialing service, endorsed products and services, and professional networking through events and district societies.

2025 legislative priorities

KDA's Board set dental workforce and dental insurance reform as its 2025 legislative priorities, and it has weighed in on proposed changes to the in-office presence requirement for dentist-owners of dental practices under K.S.A. 65-1435.

KDA's office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. More information is available at ksdental.org.
