New Jersey Dental License Renewal
Updated August 2026
Fees, deadlines, and what's required to renew a dental license in New Jersey.
New Jersey dental license and registration fees are set by regulation at N.J.A.C. 13:30-8.1 and administered by the Division of Consumer Affairs. Dentist, hygienist, RDA, and LRDA/LRDAO credentials all renew on a biennial (two-year) cycle; dentist licenses expire on November 1 of odd-numbered years, while hygienist and dental assistant credentials run on their own separate biennial schedules. The fees below reflect the schedule published in the New Jersey Register current through June 2025 — always confirm current amounts at njconsumeraffairs.gov/den before paying.
