Pennsylvania dental licenses, permits, and certificates expire March 31 of every odd-numbered year, regardless of issue date (49 Pa. Code § 33.104). PALS opens renewal applications roughly 60 days before expiration, and the Board e-mails a renewal notice to the address on file around the same time — the Postal Service does not forward licenses, so keeping a current e-mail and mailing address with the Board matters. Fees are set by the Board under 49 Pa. Code § 33.3 and increase on a published schedule.
