Tennessee Dental License Renewal

Updated August 2026

Fees, deadlines, and what's required to renew a dental license in Tennessee.

Fees for Tennessee dental credentials are set by Board rule (Rule 0460-01-.02) under the authority of the Tennessee Dental Practice Act, T.C.A. ยงยง 63-5-101 et seq. All fees are non-refundable. Renewal is biennial, following a fixed two-calendar-year cycle - January 1 of an odd-numbered year through December 31 of the following even-numbered year - rather than an individual license's issue date.
